Children's work

We like our children to enjoy many ways of showing their understanding. They use lots of speaking and listening activities which develops them as confident speakers and active listeners. They love bringing their learning to life through drama, role play, hot seating and persuasion.

We often present our learning using multi media, and use a variety of writing, illustrations and diagrams to explain our thinking. The children are encouraged to use joined cursive writing for more formal tasks and at St. Augustine's we promote activities that will make writing enjoyable.
