Spiritual Reflection

At St Augustine's, we love to worship in so many different ways throughout the week - as a whole school to begin and end the week, in sung praise, praying at the beginning and end of the day, before lunch, and at other moments during school life. We love also to worship as a class community, which we call "Spiritual Reflection" - this is led and loved by the children. This photo shows the way our youngest children in YR have chosen to set up special objects used during Spiritual Reflection which they spontaneously set up in continuous provision. It is a great example of the way the children regard this time as special, personal time to develop their own spirituality and relationship with God, and progresses as they move up through school with children taking increasing responsibility for this special time of the week.
