Welcome

Welcome to St Augustine’s - Hythe's best kept secret! - where the children are at the heart of all that we do. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and deeply embedded Catholic values of love, thankfulness, courage, compassion, forgiveness and perseverance. We believe that potential is limitless, and are passionate about helping the children to discover and explore their own gifts and talents. We have a strong academic record, with ambitious pupils who have high expectations of themselves and strive to excel. We encourage the children to try to be the best version of themselves every day.

St Augustine’s pupils are beautifully behaved, kind, fun-loving – and most importantly, they are happy.

Our exciting curriculum

Our blend of spiritual and moral development, academic challenge, sporting and creative opportunities and enrichment nurtures and celebrates the whole child. They experience the joys of life in all its fullness, giving them a strong foundation for the rest of their lives.

Our curriculum is exciting, knowledge-rich and draws on the very best resources around. We aim to inspire lifelong learning, and spark the children’s interest across the curriculum. We want to equip them with the knowledge, skills, mindset and resilience to soar in an ever-changing world. This is why our children love their learning in every area of the curriculum.
